WE ARE VERY PLEASED TO BE ABLE TO ADD PAM LACOMBE-CONNELL'S ART WORK TO OUR COLLECTION OF PRODUCTS!
About the Artist:
Upon Graduation in 1981 from Massachusetts College of Art, with a BFA in Painting, artist Pam LaCombe-Connell has exhibited extensively throughout New England. Her works have hung in the Fuller Museum of Art in Massachusetts, the Currier Gallery of Art in New Hampshire as well as in numerous, one-person and juried group shows. Her animal themed paintings and drawings are represented in private collections across the United States and Europe. In May of 1992, one of her paintings entitled, "Sharing resources" was the cover piece of New Hampshire's Upper Valley Magazine.
In a 1990, Boston Sunday Globe review, Miles Unger stated: "Some Artists have that rare capacity to transport us to a world full of strange improbabilities and through the intensity of their vision convince us that we have landed feet first in landscapes never dreamed of" "...Pam LaCombe-Connell is one such artist, and the depth of her conviction, the 'rightness' of each mark and hue quickly obliterates any skepticism." The article continues: "LaCombe-Connell is an artist of rare sensitivity. The subtlety of line and the beaurty of saturated colors sustains one's interest in depth and over time." Mr Unger states, in closing: "...we are happily returned to a garden we should never have left." *
Currently the artist resides in East Derry, NH where she trains her horse and sleddogs, which provide the continued inspiration for her portraits, artwork and crafts under the name Coyote Farm Fine Arts.
