I have 2 Golden Retrievers and we walk everyday...weather permitting. We don't usually go when there are salts and cinders because of their feet. I had tried some booties thru Amazon but they didn't even stay on to get out of the house. My husband said sled dogs wear them and they would need something dependable so I found your site and decided to try them. My dogs did a "funny tap dance" at first but once we started walking all went well and all the booties stayed on...even after a couple of miles. They were also in the snow with them and stayed on. SO HAPPY! I am on a Golden Retriever facebook site and told my story. Several said they were also going to try them.

Amazing product ! Daily exercise my 13 yo golden on city sidewalks and roads, needed something to protect from city salt and tar wear on old paws. The elastic and velcro on the top are perfect for holding tight to legs. Thank you for the wonderful product and being made in Maine USA!

I was so happy I found these boots. I walk my rescue dog everyday and these boots have made such a difference in his comfort. He has bad pads on his feet for some reason (I think maybe he belonged to a homeless person who walked the streets to town every day) and will carry his one hind foot on any kind of ruff terrain or gravel. I live in an area that has a lot of lava rock and cinder but with the boot on he will put his foot down on any terrain and even runs without carrying his foot. The hold up very well and are so easy to put on and remove. The velcro holds tight and even in the snow I find that they do not come off. I have tried several boots from pet stores and nothing compares to the quality of these boots. If anyone asks me where I found these I will always recommend Mountain Ridge.

I have been purchasing booties for years for all my akitas and they are superb products...and fit great...I typically only put them on when its below 10 degrees and when its icy to prevent cuts...abrasions..and my dogs never had a problem with them..except when you first put them on..they walk so funny (rather comical) but then they go outside and they forget they are on.....I am ordering another 4 as my new akita has bigger feet ....I hate all those socks,boots, etc..that you see at the dog stores and they actually are not good for your dogs legs and/or for walking they are not made to fit the natural paw of a dog and I hate to see people buy them for their poor dogs who have to suffer with ill fitting products. These booties are the best /least uncomfortable item you can buy for your dog(s), dogs dont like shoes, boots, socks but in some cases they have to wear them to protect their feet and the least obtrusive item you can buy are these...they fit under the pad on the front foot and if put on properly, not too tight your dog wont be bothered with them. grant it they are not to wear 24/7..just when outdoors where their feet may get hurt...or again, if mushing...so great product...
